NeLeSo GmbH · Hohenschäftlarn near Munich

Since 2010 we have built software that has to survive in the field.

We develop software building blocks for charging and implement them for our customers, from the OCPP Gateway to the Charging Platform. NeLeSo is owner-managed, founded in 2010, active in e-mobility since 2011 and equipped with its own test lab since 2014. One team handles development, integration and agreed operational support.

Information security

NeLeSo is ISO/IEC 27001 certified.

Information security is firmly embedded in our processes and responsibilities. For customers working with sensitive operational, vehicle or infrastructure data, this provides a dependable foundation from the first workshop through ongoing operations.

History

Project experience becomes software building blocks.

Four milestones, one direction: software for energy and mobility that has to hold up in continuous operation – not just in the demo.

  1. 2010 · Founded Started as a software engineering company for energy and mobility – owner-managed from day one.
  2. 2011 · e-mobility First OEM projects around vehicle data and charging – the entry into the domain that has carried us ever since.
  3. 2014 · Test lab Built our own test environment with vehicles, wallboxes and measurement equipment – the source of 250+ field-proven test cases to date.
  4. 2026 · Software & implementation The OCPP Gateway and Charging Platform bring together software for connectivity, charging operations and billing. We integrate these building blocks into customer solutions and support their introduction into production.

Who we work and have worked for.

Much of this work is confidential – the names and the fields of work are ones we may share.

Premium OEMs

For Volkswagen and Audi Denkwerkstatt we worked on vehicle data, charging processes and test automation – from early pilot fleets to series-production environments.

Testing & insurance

For DEKRA and Allianz we built software for inspection processes and data platforms – where measurements have to be reliable and processes traceable.

Charging infrastructure

For Webasto, WALL-E.works and DepotCharge we build and operate backends, test environments and operations platforms – from the first charge point to the running charging network.

How we work

How you can tell it is us.

Four principles for our software and its implementation, from selecting the right building blocks through integration to rollout.

Wallboxes and measurement equipment in the NeLeSo test lab in Hohenschäftlarn

NeLeSo TEST LAB · HOHENSCHÄFTLARN · SINCE 2014

Test lab since 2014

The heart of it all: real wallboxes, real vehicles, real failures.

Our test lab in Hohenschäftlarn is where software meets field reality: wallboxes from different manufacturers, vehicles, measurement equipment and OCPP backends in one setup. What breaks there no longer breaks in your charging network.

  • Wallboxes from various manufacturers and firmware versions in continuous operation
  • Field failures are preserved as reproducible test scenarios
  • 250+ test cases from twelve years of lab operation

Owner-managed

People who stand behind their decisions.

NeLeSo is run by its managing directors Sebastian Böttger and Dr. Thomas Ganswindt – without investors breathing down our necks and without quarterly logic. For you that means: whoever decides on your architecture also owns it for the long run. You talk to the same people at kickoff, in operations and for the next expansion step.
